Our ice sculpting demonstrations typically take place during the colder months at our processing facility in New Haven, where one of our professional carvers transform multi-hundred-pound blocks of crystal-clear ice into an intricate piece of art. Typically lasting 1 to 2 hours, these performances involve heavy machinery such as chainsaws for roughing out shapes and delicate hand tools for fine detailing, all while the artist explains the process to the audience
